Whether your group is a women’s fund, a giving circle, or an Impact100, we are the network for you. Check out our member benefits.

No two Philanos affiliates are exactly alike, but we all

are 501(c)(3) or are hosted by one
engage in collective giving by combining equal, individual member donations to make larger grants
select grant recipients by a democratic membership vote
have established grant review and assessment processes
provide educational experiences for members to advance their effectiveness as philanthropists and
are inclusive and open to the ideas of others.

How to Join Philanos | PHILANOS

We require affiliates to

contact us to set up a phone call with a membership committee representative - we want to learn about your group!
appoint a board or staff person as primary contact between your organization and Philanos. All correspondence will be directed to her and she will facilitate the distribution of Philanos' information within your organization.

pay $300; read about annual dues

complete and annually update your organization's affiliate profile

keep your organization's contacts current in our database

Join Now

Shared knowledge is the source of our network strength. We count on our affiliates' members to:

present during a monthly webinar or at a conference
respond to member-to-member discussion forum topics
serve on a Board Committee such as Membership, Webinars, Sponsorship, Communications or Nominating
serve on the Philanos Conference Program Planning Team
serve on the Philanos Board of Directors
host a future conference!
