The Philanos 2026 Willoughby and Spotlight Awards 

2026 Willoughby Award

The Willoughby Award honors visionary women leaders in philanthropy who, like Colleen S. Willoughby, have taken the field in exciting, new directions. 

Congratulations to Jenny Berg of Impact 100 Cincinnati, the 2026 Willoughby Award honoree! Jenny is a connector, mentor, and champion for nonprofits, Jenny continues to inspire leaders across communities through her commitment to collaboration, equity in grantmaking, and next-generation philanthropy.

The award focuses on the leadership aspect of collective giving and honors Colleen Willoughby's legacy as a visionary leader in philanthropy including her history as a founder of Philanos and the Washington Women's Foundation.  Details and nominations here.

2026 Spotlight Awards

Throughout the country and beyond, Philanos affiliates are practicing high impact transformational grantmaking. Philanos celebrates these efforts by highlighting our affiliates’ grantmaking through the Spotlight Awards. 

This year at the February 2026 PowerUP! Texas Philanos National Conference, we honored Impact100 Sonoma, Impact San Antonio, and 100 Women Strong of Centra Florida. Congratulations to these inspiring Philanos Affiliates!

This award is a vital way for us to demonstrate the change that is a result of investments in our community nonprofits.

  • This recognition highlights grants that have transformed their grantmaking organization, a grantee's organization and/or their community.  
  • All affiliates are invited to nominate one of their own grants.  
  • All awardees will be featured in Philanos media.
