Affiliate membership provides access to learning, peer connections, expertise, information, resources, and opportunities from across the Philanos network and the broader philanthropy community.

Ideas, expertise, best practices and learning opportunities from experts and peers across the collective giving and philanthropy field.

Philanos webinars provide regular learning opportunities for all Affiliate members, featuring experts, practitioners, and leaders from colleague giving circles who bring knowledge and lived experience on topics relevant to collective giving and philanthropy. Our PowerUP! National Conference brings the Philanos network together for deeper learning, inspiration, relationship-building, and opportunities to experience the power of collective giving on a national scale.

CONNECT: Affinity Groups + Sector Connections

Peer relationships, shared learning and connections across the Philanos network and broader philanthropy community.

Philanos Affinity Groups provide ongoing, highly interactive opportunities for Affiliate members to connect with peers around shared interests and areas of work, including communications, grantmaking, membership, governance, leadership, and more. Members can ask questions, exchange ideas, share experiences, and build relationships with collective givers across the country. As a national philanthropy infrastructure organization, Philanos also connects and collaborates with other organizations strengthening philanthropy and collective giving. Through memberships, partnerships, resource sharing, and collaborative opportunities such as CircleUp gatherings, we bring the experience and perspective of our network to the broader field while bringing knowledge, connections, resources, and opportunities back to our Affiliates and their members.

Timely information, useful resources, shared experiences and opportunities to stay informed, involved and connected across the Philanos network.

Philanos keeps Affiliate members connected throughout the year through our monthly eNewsletter, bi-weekly Events eNews, social media, website, Affiliate Portal, Resource Library, and other communications and resources. Affiliate members can discover upcoming learning and networking opportunities, access resources to support their giving circles, see what colleague circles are doing, and stay informed about developments across the collective giving and philanthropy field. Philanos also celebrates and elevates outstanding leaders, Affiliates, and examples of collective giving through the Philanos Awards, helping share their work and experiences across our national network.
