Who are we
We are a collective grant-making organization that enables women to turn their personal donations into $100,000 grants to nonprofits in the five-county Philadelphia region. Since 2009, our women members have awarded more than $3.5 million in grants. Members learn about remarkable nonprofit work in our region and get to know women they wouldn’t encounter otherwise. Our mission
To engage women in collectively funding high-impact grants that address unmet needs in the Philadelphia region and raise the profile of smaller nonprofit organizations. Through this work, our goal is to make our community more just, equitable, and healthy for everyone in Philadelphia, PA.

Join us
Membership is open to all women, 21 years or older, who donate $1150 by December 1. Of that amount, $1000 goes straight into the pool of grant funds for the coming year. Women who are 35 or younger may join as Young Philanthropists by donating $575. Membership is a one-year commitment and there is no obligation to participate beyond donating. Join us

Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia

was founded 30 years ago by a small group of visionary leaders in philanthropy who wanted to increase the impact of their giving to nurture a more vibrant region. Today, the seed sown by those early pioneers has blossomed into a nearly 140-member-strong association whose mission remains to strengthen philanthropy in order to create a more vibrant, resilient and equitable region.

Center for High Impact Philanthropy

studies the practice of using philanthropic funds for social impact. CHIP, based at the University of Pennsylvania, is a valued resource for research and resources on how to give better and more meaningfully.

Generocity Philly

is a local social impact news and events group with a mission of building better communities through smarter impact. The focus of Generocity's reporting and convening is on how nonprofit, social enterprise and other mission groups can maximize their impact.

Philadelphia, (#philly) the City of Brotherly and Sisterly Love, is the treasured birthplace of our nation, and the city where life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness became enshrined as our national values.
