Sue Pitchford, Anne Arundel Women Giving Together Sue spent her 35-year career with IBM in sales and sales management, retiring in 2017. For the last 12 years of her career, she was a software account executive specializing in the travel industry. In that position, she represented IBM’s entire software portfolio, working with customer executives to bring the latest technology to further their business while leading a large team of software specialists. Sue has been a member of Philanos Affiliate, Anne Arundel Women Giving Together, since 2012, serving as Grants Chair in 2017, Vice President in 2018 and President in 2019. She currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee. Sue is originally from outside Philadelphia but has lived in multiple locations where IBM and her husband, Mike’s, career has taken them. Since 2010, they have resided in Annapolis, Maryland, where she and her husband, Mike, are active power boat cruisers and members of the Annapolis Yacht Club and the Severn Sailing Association. They live on their 42-foot boat in Stuart, Florida, during the winter months. Sue has also served on the Board of Leadership Anne Arundel and as Chair of the Cruising Fleet of the Annapolis Yacht Club for 3 years and most recently has been asked to lead Grants management for the Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation. Stephanie Cook, The San Diego Women's Foundation Stephanie has a background in critical race and general studies. She spent her academic career studying the transformative power of women’s movements around the globe. As the Executive Director for Philanos Affiliate, The San Diego Women’s Foundation, she works with a community of change-makers and oversees the foundation’s strategic direction and mission to connect, education and inspire women to come together in collective philanthropy. Before accepting her role at SDWF, Stephanie worked and volunteered with a variety of nonprofit organizations working on women’s empowerment and social justice issues where she utilized her skills in educational programming, social media management and content creation, member recruitment and engagement strategies, and developing corporation partnerships. Stephanie currently serves as a Philanos board member and co-chair of the Philanos Affiliate Engagement Committee and as a member of Girls Scouts San Diego's Leadership Advisory Bureau.
