Collaborative Funding:
Joining Forces to Support Racial Equity Work

Policies, practices and biases have imbedded systemic racism and inequity in communities of color in many ways, including income gaps, access to quality education, housing, healthcare and fair treatment in the criminal justice system.

In June 2020, The Latina Giving Circle (LGC) and The San Diego Women's Foundation Collaboration Committee (SDWFCC) joined forces for the first time to support racial justice work together.  They focused their grants on organizations led by women of color combating systemic injustices in San Diego County. Through combined fundraising efforts they were able to grant more than $57K to three organizations engaged in racial equity work.

Join us to learn more about their collaborative efforts to support racial justice

Panelists:

San Diego Women’s Foundation
