The Pursuit of Equity: A Prelude to PowerUP! Seattle

As a precursor to our 2020 PowerUP! The Spark That Ignites Change conference in Seattle, our November 12, 2019 webinar will share ideas on how grantmaking organizations could consider building internal structures to become more equitable and inclusive organizations.  Washington Women’s Foundation will share how they created their DEI committee and the steps taken to transform their grant making to equity focused.  In addition, Philanthropy Northwest (an incubator for collaboration for philanthropists in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming) will present a “landscape overview” of how their work is changing grantmaking organizations ranging from family to community foundations.
