Many Catalist member organizations focus their grant-making on high-impact grants for new projects, rather than growing existing programs.  This webinar provides two very interesting examples of women’s giving organizations that have successfully provided capacity-building grants.  Becky Austen of Impact Austin will discuss their Catalyst Grants, which provide funding for the purpose of strengthening or growing a nonprofit organization in order to improve its future performance, impact and sustainability, all in support of its mission and vision.  Emily Biscardi of Impact100 Philadelphia will describe their Core Mission Support grants, which were implemented in 2017.  These grants may be for primary programs or services, or necessary improvements to infrastructure, or other initiatives to strengthen a nonprofit’s work in the region.
